Email on your domain / Migadu

Migadu on your domain. The exact records.

The DNS records Migadu’s own docs ask for, so mail to you@yourdomain arrives and what you send isn’t marked as spam. Add them at your domain’s DNS provider, then check your domain live below.

  1. Add these records at your DNS provider

“@” means the domain itself. MX records receive mail; SPF, DKIM and DMARC prove that mail you send is really yours.

    TypeNameValue
TXTProve you own the domain@hosted-email-verify=… (copy from Migadu)Different for every account: copy it from Migadu.
    MXReceive mail@aspmx1.migadu.comPriority 10
    MXReceive mail (backup)@aspmx2.migadu.comPriority 20
    TXTAllowed senders (SPF)@v=spf1 include:spf.migadu.com -all
    CNAMESigning key (DKIM)key1._domainkeykey1.yourdomain.com._domainkey.migadu.com
    CNAMESigning key (DKIM)key2._domainkeykey2.yourdomain.com._domainkey.migadu.com
    CNAMESigning key (DKIM)key3._domainkeykey3.yourdomain.com._domainkey.migadu.com
    TXTAnti-spoofing (DMARC)_dmarcv=DMARC1; p=none

  2. Good to know

Migadu shows a hosted-email-verify code for each domain in its admin panel. The DKIM targets include your domain name.

A domain can have only one SPF record. If your app also sends email through another service, the two must be merged into one: add the service below and the check gives you the merged record.

  3. Check your domain

Type your domain: we read public DNS and show which Migadu records are in place, which are missing and which need to change.
