Email on your domain / Cloudflare Email Routing

Cloudflare Email Routing on your domain. The exact records.

The DNS records Cloudflare Email Routing’s own docs ask for, so mail to you@yourdomain arrives and what you send isn’t marked as spam. Add them at your domain’s DNS provider, then check your domain live below.

  1. Add these records at your DNS provider

“@” means the domain itself. MX records receive mail; SPF, DKIM and DMARC prove that mail you send is really yours.

    TypeNameValue
    MXReceive mail@route1.mx.cloudflare.net
    MXReceive mail@route2.mx.cloudflare.net
    MXReceive mail@route3.mx.cloudflare.net
    TXTAllowed senders (SPF)@v=spf1 include:_spf.mx.cloudflare.net ~all
    TXTAnti-spoofing (DMARC)_dmarcv=DMARC1; p=none

  2. Good to know

Free forwarding to an inbox you already have (for example Gmail). Receive-only: replies come from your personal address unless you add a sending service.

Requires your DNS to be on Cloudflare. Enabling Email Routing adds the MX and SPF records for you, with priorities Cloudflare chooses.

A domain can have only one SPF record. If your app also sends email through another service, the two must be merged into one: add the service below and the check gives you the merged record.

  3. Check your domain

Type your domain: we read public DNS and show which Cloudflare Email Routing records are in place, which are missing and which need to change.
