Connect a domain to Webflow. The exact records.

What Webflow’s own docs ask for, in order: where to click in Webflow, which DNS records to add at your domain’s DNS provider, and what to watch for. Then check your domain live below.

  1. In Webflow

    Site settings → Publishing → Production → Add a custom domain (a Site plan is required). Webflow shows your _webflow code there.

  2. At your DNS provider

    Add these records. “@” means the domain itself.

  3. Good to know

    Sites created before April 2025 may show two older A records in Site settings: use whatever your Site settings show.

    If your DNS is on Cloudflare, set the records to “DNS only”.

  4. Check your domain

    Type your domain: we read public DNS and show which Webflow records are in place, which are missing and which old ones to remove.
