Connect a domain to Replit. The exact records.

What Replit’s own docs ask for, in order: where to click in Replit, which DNS records to add at your domain’s DNS provider, and what to watch for. Then check your domain live below.

1. In Replit

   Deploy first, then Publishing → Domains → Connect your own domain. Replit shows the A address and replit-verify code to copy.

2. At your DNS provider

   Add these records. “@” means the domain itself.

3. Good to know

   Keep the replit-verify record: Replit needs it to renew your certificate. Connect www as its own domain if you want it.

   Use A records only (no AAAA). If your DNS is on Cloudflare, set the records to “DNS only”.

4. Check your domain

   Type your domain: we read public DNS and show which Replit records are in place, which are missing and which old ones to remove.
